Evans Modular Credenza
I have been wanting this extra, extra-long credenza as part of our furniture lineup for a while now.
Our credenzas max out at 100 inches, or a little over 8 feet. We have the Zane and the Simple Modular Credenza, both of which are 100 inches long.
So, I set out to design just that!
Say Hello to The Evans Modular Credenza
It’s long, it’s tall, and it’s very useful. Let’s take a look!
It’s Long
I wanted a whole 10-foot-long credenza!
Why?
Because sometimes you just need a TON of storage!
My home office space has no closets, no cabinets, and, as a result, no storage whatsoever!
However, it does have a 16-foot-long continuous wall, so a 10-foot credenza worked perfectly.

It Is Also Tall!
Not only is it 120 inches (10 feet) long, but it is also 42 inches tall.
I wanted an extra-tall piece for my space because I felt like I needed the height for my vaulted ceiling.
We designed it to be 42 inches tall, but we can certainly make you one that’s 38 or even 35 inches if you prefer.
To be honest, we placed it in a spot where the ceilings are the shortest in that room, but the height adds to its presence.
Also, while we’re being honest, a 12-foot-long credenza would work in a room double or triple the size of my office space.
It’s a little oversized for my space, but I’ll take it!

It’s Modular
What does that mean?
It means it comes apart in four pieces.
There are three 40-inch storage pieces that get placed on the base. The base is the fourth piece, and it is the only piece that is the full 120 inches long.
This is awesome!
This design makes it super easy to transport this behemoth in freight elevators in high-rise condos.
Don’t let your freight elevator dictate the size of your storage pieces!
I Designed a Storage Workhorse
It Has File Storage
We added a giant file storage drawer on the left, but we can add one more if you like.
It Has Deep Drawers
I don’t know why, but deep drawers make me very happy. I’m not storing pots and pans in my office credenza, but I still want deep drawers like my kitchen has!
Pullout Tray for Printer
This was important to me because I wanted the printer hidden inside the cabinet, yet I didn’t want to stick my head inside if there were a paper jam.
There is enough room on the side for paper reams and additional printer-related storage.
I Have Plenty of Empty Space for Future Accumulations
Currently, it’s only half full, and that gives me a lot of comfort. I may never run out of space with this one!
